I noticed this beautiful old home very close to the Roswell Museum and Art Center during my residency in 1991. It had a strong prescence and was a joy to paint.
Returning to Roswell in 2007, I noticed the house was for sale. Tempting.
The model is Maggie Evans who sat for several large paintings.
