I wanted to paint inside the cinema, the screen and the audience.
The person on-screen is Jane, my wife and then, girl-friend. The scene behind is Bribane. I painted the study for this from Alex Mackay's apartment in Admiralty Towers, on the night I met Jane for the first time.
