This was painted from the top of what is known as The Nut. The Nut is a towering rock that over looks the small Tasmanian, coastal town of Stanley.
It is almost always, extremely windy on top of The Nut. Painting this was one of my more difficult challenges.
This scene became the background for the large work, Circus Girl.
